Fair questions
Why is there a setup fee?
Because setup is real work done for you: I configure the app to your bylaws, build your committees and roster, import your board’s history, and train your admin. You start with a working system, not an empty one. The fee covers my time — it isn’t a profit center.
What happens if we leave?
You take everything with you. One click produces a complete export of your data (a full database copy plus spreadsheets of every record), and your documents never left your own shared drive in the first place. Your instance is deleted after you confirm you have what you need. No exit fees, no data hostages.
Our budget is tiny. Do you discount?
Ask. The answer is usually yes for small, mission-driven organizations. The price exists so I can run this well, not to keep good boards out.
Can we pay month-to-month?
Billing is annual, on purpose — it matches how boards budget, and it means one invoice your treasurer approves once a year instead of a recurring card charge nobody remembers authorizing.
